1. Who collects your data
SprintPrep is operated by Badmus Technology. We are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at badmus.projects@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a hashed password.
- Study data: which lessons you open, quiz scores, mock-exam attempts, daily streaks, predicted grades and offline-cache timestamps.
- Payment data: the charge amount, the date and the transaction reference from whichever processor handled it. We do not store your Mobile Money PIN or card details; those stay with the processor.
- Diagnostics: client-side error reports (component name, error message, page route) sent to our own diagnostics table so we can fix broken pages. These never include your password or payment credentials.
3. Why we collect it
- To create and protect your account.
- To grant and check access to paid content.
- To show your study progress: streaks, predicted grades, weekly goals and the renewal nudge when a paid period is about to end.
- To investigate and fix errors reported by the app.
4. Who else sees it
- Paystack processes payments on both curricula. When you pay, Paystack receives your email and the transaction details under their own privacy policy. Ghana WASSCE can be paid by Mobile Money or by card; Cameroon GCE Ordinary Level is paid by card, in Ghana Cedis.
- Your card issuer converts a Cameroonian payment from CFA francs to Cedis, so your bank sees the purchase and holds the exchange rate. SprintPrep neither asks for nor stores that rate.
- Supabase hosts our database and authentication. Your data lives on Supabase infrastructure under their data-processing agreement.
- Sales representatives who refer you can see the commission they earned from your payment, not your password or study data.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers or third-party marketers.
5. Cookies and local storage
SprintPrep uses a session cookie set by Supabase to keep you signed in. We also store a small number of values in your browser’s local storage: your user ID and email (so the app does not re-fetch them on every page), your admin status if applicable, and the timestamp of your last offline-cache sync. None of these values track you across other websites.
6. How long we keep it
Your account data and study records are kept for as long as your account exists. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax law in the country the payment was made from - Ghana for WASSCE charges, Cameroon for GCE Ordinary Level charges. Diagnostics reports are reviewed and may be deleted at any time.
7. Your rights
You may:
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete your data.
- Close your account at any time from the dashboard.

8. Children
SprintPrep is built for Senior High School students, who are typically sixteen to eighteen years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children under thirteen.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the most recent revision. Continued use of SprintPrep after a change means you accept the updated policy.
